         I MAKE CERAMIC WEARABLE

Liwen Liang is a ceramic craftsman and fashion designer based in London. He creates wearable ceramics that blend traditional Chinese craftsmanship with contemporary fashion.

Drawing inspiration from his roots in Jingdezhen, China’s porcelain capital, Liang has developed an innovative technique that fuses 0.4mm thin porcelain with fabric—transforming fragile ceramics into flexible textiles. After three years of experimentation, this process preserves the heritage of porcelain-making while redefining the boundaries of fashion materials.

Liang’s work celebrates imperfection and authenticity, embracing fragility as a form of strength and truth. Each of his creations is both sculptural and wearable, inviting the wearer to embody resilience, delicacy, and individuality.

His vision is simple: be brave, be fragile, be true. By merging heritage with innovation, Liang aims to offer not just clothing, but a living form of art—an experience of wearing history, craft, and emotion.
